Welcome to
the South Gate High School website. The idea behind this site is to make
available, biographies, photographs and information of the alumni of the
classes of Winter/Summer 1956...
There were 460 graduates in 56 and
their pictures from the yearbook and reunion books have been scanned into
a data base and will be used on that alumni's page along with any other
pictures of themselves, kids, grandkids, email addresses, anything
that person would like to share on their page... Just email me any pictures
or info you want on your page.....or anything you want changed...
just let me know and please tell any and all alumni you know about
Southgatehigh.com... There will never be a charge here
as some websites I'm sure you have seen.....This site will continually be
under construction and is based on 1956 as this is the year I graduated
from South Gate High ...I have had some feedback from some friends
of classes 54,55,57,58,59 etc and some from the 40's who would like to be included, so there will be
an area under "Class of" that will include any alumni of South Gate who
would enjoy having a page to share with their classmates...just e-mail
me....The indexes at left, Winter/Summer 56 contain all the names of the
graduates and I will be installing the pictures I have, starting with the
attendees of reunion 45th adding down thru reunion 25th to
graduation...Any information or pictures I receive from any alumni
will be installed to their page within 24 hours...whether they attended
all or no reunions....... So sit back and enjoy a stroll through the
galleries of pictures and bios of friends and classmates of 50+ years
ago....And please take a moment to view the "In Memory" pages......And a
special thanks to Doris Greathead/Edey from the reunion committee who has supplied me with
many pictures and information which has helped in the creation of this
